A STRAIGHT-UP PRICE GUIDE · WAIKATO / NEW ZEALAND

What does a concreter website cost in NZ?

There isn’t one correct price for every concrete business. A single-page brochure, a proper multi-page quoting site and ongoing marketing are different things. Here’s how to compare them without getting caught out.

What ARQORA charges

Our standard New Zealand concreter website build is NZ$899 one-off for up to five focused pages: home, services, gallery, about and contact. You can see a free homepage idea before committing. If you decide to go ahead, the standard NZ$899 build is paid upfront so we can get started.

What you should budget for separately

ItemWhy it matters
Domain nameYour business web address renews periodically. Confirm the price and who owns it.
Hosting and technical maintenanceWebsites need hosting. Ask exactly what is included, whether any third-party fees apply, and who can move the site.
Extra pages or featuresBooking systems, copywriting for extra services, integrations and ongoing updates may cost more than a standard build.
Ongoing Google marketingSEO campaigns, paid Google Ads and Google Business Profile management are separate from a one-time website build.

The standard ARQORA build has no compulsory monthly ARQORA care subscription. Any domain or third-party charges and extra work must be agreed separately. Applicable tax treatment is shown on the invoice.

What should a concreter actually look for?

  1. Real job photos: a customer should see your best driveways, slabs or exposed aggregate, not unrelated stock jobs.
  2. Clear service area: name the places you genuinely work in, not every town in New Zealand.
  3. Simple quote requests: someone viewing on a phone should find your number or enquiry form without hunting.
  4. Mobile readability: text, forms and photos should work on older phones as well as desktop.
  5. A transparent handover: know who owns the domain, how you update photos, and what renewals exist.

Is a cheap website a waste of money?

Not necessarily. A small business with good photos and clear services may do well with a focused site. A more complex firm might need detailed project pages, tender information or specialist integrations. Spend on what customers will use rather than paying for fancy effects that hide the contact button.

Does SEO come included?

A responsible build should include readable headings, titles, descriptions, working links, mobile performance, helpful service descriptions and basic indexing support. But getting onto Google's first page isn't part of a guaranteed build outcome. Rankings depend on many factors outside the design itself.

If you need a little flexibility, payment options are available on request.

Five questions to ask any NZ web designer

  1. Can I see a real working project, not only a stock template?
  2. What's the full up-front price and what renews?
  3. Who controls the domain, hosting and website files?
  4. How do quote enquiries get to me, and what if the form breaks?
  5. Which photos and reviews will you use, and do I approve them?
